1. 持外国有效普通护照的非中国籍公民。
2. 身心健康,无犯罪记录。
三、报名时间、注册时间及申请材料
◆ 报名时间:全年报名
◆ 注册时间:每年9月初或3月初 (具体时间以《录取通知书》为准)
◆ 申请材料:
1. 护照扫描件。
2. 4张护照尺寸白底照片。
3. 最高学历证书(中文/英文),非中文或英文材料必须提供经公证后的中文版或英文版翻译件。
4.体检材料:境外申请者须提交有效期内的《外国人体格检查表》扫描件。中国境内申请者,须提交有效期内的《境外人员体格检查记录验证证明》(体检报告)扫描件。
5.《北京信息科技大学外国留学生入学申请表》(见附件1) 。
6.《北京信息科技大学外国留学生家庭信息表》(见附件2)。
7. 未满18周岁的申请者,需提交由北京地区公证处出具的监护人公证书原件、父母双方的护照扫描件。
说明:申请材料不予退还。四、申请流程

2. 材料审核及录取通知
学校审核申请材料,确定拟录取名单,向录取者寄发《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》(JW202)。(请在报名时注明领取或邮寄录取通知书的方式及联系方式)。

六、结业合格标准
1. 完成所有科目,参加考试且成绩合格
2. 每科目考勤出勤率达到该科目总课时的1/3
满足上述条件的留学生可获得北京信息科技大学国际交流学院颁发的结业证书。
七、签证申请
被录取者,持学校签发的《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》(JW202)到所在国的中国使馆办理来华入境签证,抵达中国后30天内须到国际交流学院申请办理外国人居留许可。

短期班项目
一、学制
◆ 短期汉语言培训项目:学习期限为2周-6周,可根据短期团的特性专门定制课程,常规课程安排为每周一至周五上午学习语言课程,每周20课时,下午提供文化课程(书法、绘画、中国功夫、剪纸、影视欣赏)及景点旅游参观等活动。学业结束后可获得北京信息科技大学国际交流学院颁发的结业证书。
◆ 短期专业培训项目:学习期限为3周-6周,英文授课,招收对象为与北京信息科技大学已签署协议的合作院校的本科生和研究生。
二、申请资格
1. 高中毕业或以上学历,持外国有效普通护照的非中国籍公民。
2. 身心健康,无犯罪记录。

1. 护照扫描件。

2020 Enrollment Guide for International Non-degree Students
Long Term and Short Term Chinese Language Training Program
I. Educational System
1. Long term language students: One academic year or longer.
2. Short term language students: One semester or less.
II. Eligibility
1. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport.
2. In good physical and mental health, no criminal record.
III. Application, Registration Period and Required Materials
◆Application time: all year round
◆There are two registration periods every year: around March and September(based on the “Admission letter).
◆Required Materials:
1. A scan of passport;
2. Four passport-size photos with a white background;
3. Diploma: Copy of the final diploma(English/Chinese). Non-Chinese or English materials must provide notarized translations in Chinese or English;
4. Physical Examination Materials: If you apply from abroad, you must submit the original “Foreigner Physical Examination Form” within the validity period. If you are an applicant already staying in China, you must submit the original “Certificate of Verification(For Physical Examination Record for Foreigner or Overseas Chinese” (including the Physical Examination Report) within the validity period;
5. A complete “Beijing Information Science & Technology University (BISTU) Application Form for International Students”(see attachment 1);
6. A complete “Beijing Information Science & Technology University (BISTU) Information Form for International Students’ Family Members” (see attachment 2);
7. Applicant who is under the age of 18, must provide the original copy of the notarized legal guardian form issued by Notary Public Office in Beijing and the scanned passports of parents.
Additional remarks: The application materials will NOT be refunded.

The university reviews the materials, confirms the list of intended students and sends the letter of admission and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202). (please indicate the method which you want to receive these documents, including your contact details)

VI. Criteria for Receiving the Certificate of Completion
1. You must complete all subjects and pass all exams.
2. You must attend at least 1/3 of all classes.
Students who meet the above requirements can receive the Certificate of Completion issued by the College ofInternational Education of the Beijing Information Science&Technology University.
VII. Visa Application
Admitted students must submit the “Admission letter” and “Visa Application for Study in China (JW202)” issued by BISTU to the Chinese embassy in host country to apply for a student visa and go to the College of International Education of BISTU within 30 days to apply for a foreigner residence permit.

Short Term Class Program
I. Educational System
◆Short-term Chinese Language Training Program
The purpose of the short-term Chinese language program is to improve the student’s oral communications ability. No prior knowledge of the Chinese language is required. The student can choose a duration of study of 2-6 weeks. Classes are taught from Monday to Friday morning(20 class hours per week). The afternoons feature cultural activities (Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, Chinese Kung Fu, paper-cutting and Chinese film appreciation, etc.) and tours of local tour attractions and Chinese culture activities. At the end of the program, students who pass the examination will receive a Certificate of Completion.
◆Short-Term Professional Training program (English)
The short-term professional program is taught in English and is based on the agreement signed between BISTU and its many partner universities around the world. It is a specially designed short-term training course for undergraduates and graduate students who come from BISTU’s partner universities. Students will have an in-depth understanding of China from their selected courses. The program consists of professional training and practice lasting 3 to 6 weeks.
II. Eligibility
1. Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport and awarded certificate of graduation from high school or above.
2. In good physical and mental health, no criminal record.
III. Application Materials
