Welcome to our BCIS community!

Those who already are part of the BCIS community will make reference to our "BCIS family" – BCIS is known to be a nurturing, caring, and compassionate place that believes in the power of relationships and confidence-building. We have an academic program from Toddler to Grade 12 that we are justifiably proud of, personalizing learning for our students, and having them experience their learning through real-life, hands-on experiences. Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced and are committed to our BCIS mission, ensuring our students have access to all they need to be successful. Our parents work together with us as partners and we understand the need for close communication, support and understanding.

BCIS is a school that lives its mission. We wholeheartedly believe in “empowering and inspiring through challenge and compassion,” and we invite all our community members to engage with our mission and be conscious about ways to both model and follow the elements within it.

I am proud to be the Head of School at BCIS, having been a part of this community since it opened in 2005. I have felt honored to have worked with all the students and adults who have been a part of the BCIS family over the last 14 years and look forward to the continued collaboration in the future.

You can find me in my office situated in the Elementary School lobby area, and I’ll always be outside on school mornings welcoming students to school.

中学课程

北京乐成国际学校（BCIS）是一个充满挑战和关爱的国际化学习社区，以“文、行、忠、信”作为教育哲学，坚持严谨的以探究为基础的个性化学习原则，注重服务于社区和融合中外最佳教育实践。学校通过不断挑战和启发学生们的睿智，培养他们热爱学习，乐于服务，激励他们实现人生抱负，为中国和世界的可持续发展做出贡献。

经朝阳区教委批准，BCIS在开足开齐并创造性实施国家课程标准以及国家课程校本化的基础上，学校的课程体系由学前及小学课程、中学课程和大学预科课程组成。这一课程体系获得了国际文凭组织的专业授权及认证。

BCIS中学课程包括6-10年级中学课程、11-12年级大学预科课程。我们在11-12年级也提供我们自己的BCIS高中文凭课程和创思课程项目，学生可以用它来支持他们申请世界各地的学院和大学。

面试须知

6－11年级入学面试，我们将全面考察每位申请者。我们将先单独面试学生，然后再与家长交流。如果家长不能用英语沟通，须随行携带一位翻译参加面试。我们期望了解学生课内外的兴趣。面试前，我们会审阅学生的成绩单和推荐信，以及以往的考试记录；面试时，我们会和学生就以往的学习经历进行交流。

这也是考核学生英语理解与听说能力的好机会。如果英语不是学生的母语，他/她需要在面试前参加SSAT考试。如需了解SSAT的更多信息，请访问SSAT官网：www.ssat.org如学生已经参加了其他机构的标准化考试，请在提交在线申请时上传相应信息以供我们参考。

申请费用

申请费须于学生评估与面试前完成支付，且不予退款或转让。2020-2021学年申请费为人民币3,000元.

为保证每位申请者享受平等、相同的入学申请，我们谨慎地制定了招生工作流程。决策时，我们也会考虑您的家庭是否适合BCIS社区。所以，烦请您抽出宝贵时间，阅读理解学校的使命、愿景和申请流程，并保证您认同学校的教学理念与教学方法。

北京乐成国际学校（BCIS）欢迎所有理解并支持学校使命、愿景与教育理念的学生家庭申请入学。学校不限制学生国籍，基于学位和教学资源情况进行招生。

学校的招生政策与学校的使命和愿景一致，同时也体现了学校的包容性。我们招收来自世界各地的学生，致力于维持均衡招生，努力实现学生性别、学习成绩、兴趣爱好、英语水平和现有学生结构之间的平衡。
